Like everything else in his life, his journey toward excellence continues. He is a ScreenwritingU alumni, UK industrial scripts screenwriting program graduate, and a Writers Guild Foundation Veteran fellowship selectee/participant.
Sean is a member of the Black TV & Film Collective, Chicago Screenwriters Network, and the Organization of Black Screenwriters. He is also a jurist for the 2021 Vancouver International Women’s Film Festival screenwriting contest. Most recently, he is an active executive producer in short and feature films.

Jane Aster Roe is a multimedia writer, producer, and storyteller based in Toronto, Canada. She is passionate about storytelling as a form of radical empathy and strongly believes in the power of art and media as a vehicle for societal change, with a particular focus on intersectional feminism, mental illness, and the LGBTQ+ community. Jane attended the School of the New York Times and her perspectives are shaped by her own experiences, as well as an innate curiosity about life and human nature.
Jane’s other endeavors include serving as chair of Girl Up, a division of the UN’s global young women’s empowerment movement, and participating in the Youth Advisory Committee of Lumenus Community Services. Through her work, Jane strives to tell untold stories and examine familiar stories through new lenses.
